Family—Mimosaceae.
Common names:-Gujrati. Kherio; Hindi. Khair; Marathi. Khair.
A moderate-sized thorny tree growing along the coasts of Konkan also scattered throughout the State in tire dry and moist forests.
Lower and smaller branches are eaten by sheep and goats.
